Scuba diving is available in the surrounding area. Palazzo de la Sengle is a beautiful (new) hotel. The rooms are comfortable and luxurious, clean, excellent bed, nice bathroom. You can see everything is done which lots of care. The continental breakfast is a nice start of the day. Everything tasty, fresh with extra Maltese pastries. I spend 7 nights at the Palazzo and had a marvelous time.

I've stayed here before, so I knew what to expect. It really has everything you need and is a minute's walk to the bus stop taking you into Valletta (or elsewhere if you wish). Maria was a great host, and waited for me in the family hardware shop next door.. The smart TV was too smart for me (as is usually the case). May be worth mentioning that the stairs up to the bedroom might be a little taxing for young children.

I was worried that Google Maps showed 20 minutes to the ferry, but in fact, you can use the Pont Karlu Marks pedestrian bridge, which the map does not take into account when building a route. You can have breakfast in three places — on the ground floor or on one of the two terraces, which offer beautiful views. The staff can open an umbrella if you want some shade. Everyone is very friendly, and it's a very comfortable place to relax.
