Location was great, pretty close to the airport, so you can walk from the Airport to the Hotel. We rented a scooter, what you can either do at the airport or the Hotel. So we were flexible in transport and enjoyed having the location a bit outside of the very touristy places. Breakfast was great and offered many options.

The person who received us was very kind and helpful. They really worked towards small gestures such as keeping a welcome note, giving coconut water along with it, free airport pick up, etc. which really makes the stay very pleasant.

We were first time in Langkawi and happy that i choose Golden Chenang Village for my stay. We got a free upgrade and quite happy with the comfort of the room. The Bamboo cafe in the property is just amazing and the village is located in prime location. It was quite relaxing to stay and we had a great time.

The atmosphere and the staff were amazing! Nanda was so good at making everyone feel comfortable and the staff were super friendly too! The dorms were great with the best privacy and for so cheap!

The helpfulness from the staff. All we had to do was give an idea of what we might like to do. The staff were on their phone immediately looking for us. Later contacting us with an opportunity and price. We could ask for coffee, tea and creamer as much as we needed. Which for us was for the morning, afternoon and evening along with water. The staff worked as a team, if one hadn't got an answer, they would tell the next person coming on duty to complete or pass the info to us.

Can't say enough good things about my stay here. The location is nice in that it's still close to the beach without being the crazy main street where everything is happening. The staff are incredibly friendly and very helpful with organizing any kind of tours/transportation you might need. The kitchen is very well stocked and if you're lucky, you'll be around when Kashif is cooking :)
