Located in Las Peñitas, a few steps from Las Peñitas Beach, Nuevo NAYAL provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. During our trip through Nicaragua, this accommodation in Las Peñitas was by far the best. Everything was thought through down to the smallest detail and simply breathtaking—you can immediately feel how much love, passion, and professionalism have gone into this place. The pool was spotless at all times, and the garden area was very idyllic, quiet, and inviting—a perfect place to unwind and relax. The proximity to the beach is unbeatable: only about 15 meters on foot, at most 30 meters across the street—you really can’t get any closer. The restaurant was an absolute highlight and felt more like a gourmet restaurant than a typical hotel kitchen. The paella in particular was simply phenomenal. Here, too, you immediately notice the high standards of quality. The staff were consistently attentive, present, and very warm without ever being intrusive. The owners themselves are incredibly kind, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. They keep an eye on everything and take great care of their guests with genuine dedication. The rooms were perfect: there were two different soaps (a fruity hand soap at the sink and a separate shower soap), as well as two different pillow firmness options—one soft and one firm—so you could choose what suited your neck and sleeping comfort best. The beds were neither too hard nor too soft, not worn out at all—simply perfect. Everything felt like new and was impeccably clean down to the last corner. We also really appreciated the additional amenities: yoga mats could be borrowed to enjoy a private yoga session above the restaurant in complete peace. There were also hammocks available for guests to use freely—pure relaxation. Another big plus were the organized tours: excellently planned, with English-speaking guides, pick-up directly at the hotel, and return transport included. Set in Las Peñitas, a few steps from Las Peñitas Beach, Hotel Cabañas Puesta del Sol offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was friendly, and both the room and all hotel areas were spotless and well maintained. They serve an excellent espresso — the coffee beans are carefully selected, and it truly tastes amazing. The food quality was also great. If you don’t need to be directly on the beachfront, I highly recommend this place — the beach is only a two-minute walk away, and I could see the waves from my room window. The owners were often around and always nice to chat with.

Alive Beach House features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in El Tránsito. Providing a bar, the property is located within a few steps of El Transito Beach. My stay at Alive Beach House was excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the hotel itself is stunning - beautifully designed, quaint, and full of charm. The sunsets are truly out of this world! The surfing was consistently great, and Max was an amazing instructor - patient, knowledgeable, and fun to learn from. Morning yoga classes were a fantastic addition and really elevated the overall experience. We also went horseback riding, which was unforgettable. The restaurant alone is worth coming back for. Every dish felt intentional, fresh, and rooted in the local flavors, without trying too hard. Combined with sunset views, post-surf exhaustion, and genuinely thoughtful service, meals became a highlight of each day. This place doesn’t just offer an experience — it lingers. Set in León, Casa Lula León Hostal has a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. Some units at the property feature a balcony with a city view. A very warm welcome from Roger and Selina who were always around to give helpful advice or just a chat about our day. The whole place was super clean ! With 9(?) rooms there was a friendly but not noisy vibe. The kitchen was well equipt and so cooking meals was easy. Coffee was brewed was provided for free around breakfast time . The WiFi was excellent . Comfortable communal sitting area with hammocks . Very good location close to the cathedral. We paid extra for A/C in our too was it was really hot in Leon. I would highly recommend this place to stay.

Situated in Las Peñitas, a few steps from Las Peñitas Beach, El Belga Loco features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. Excelent location and whole stay at this apartment. Very nice garden, pool and food. The owner was very friendly and helpful with everything we needed and gave as a lot of great tips for traveling in Nicaragua. Strongly recommend👍

Featuring free WiFi in all areas, a restaurant and a year-round outdoor pool, Hotel El Convento is located 5 minutes’ walk from León Cathedral in the city centre. Enchanting location, well located in the heart of Leon. Room was Impecable, staff and service were world class.
