Sijainti oli mukavan matkan päässä Arequipan historiallisesta keskusaukiosta. Lähistöllä oli useita ravintoloita. Hostelli oli siisti ja kattoterasilla oli mukava nauttia auringosta. Hostellilla olisi ollut useita tapahtumia, joihin olisi voinut osallistua. Henkilökunta oli ystävällinen. Aamiasen pystyi pyynnöstä ostamaan mukaan retkellle.
