The hotel is in an old manor, I loved how well-preserved everything was, the tile work, windows... It's so charming! The room was massive with a sitting area, a big window looking into the river and a big comfy bed. The bathroom was nice with everything you need. The patio is beautiful and swimming pool is also very nice for the heat. The breakfast was magnificent!

We had an amazing stay at Casa Kukama, which is located a bit outside of Iquitos in the small village of Santo Tomas. We loved the authentic Amazon experience we had together with the hosts. Pablo and Lorena were incredibly welcoming and we learned a lot from them. The lodge is very cozy.

Fitzcarrald Hotel is set in Iquitos. This 3-star hotel offers a concierge service and a tour desk. The staff was the best! They responded very quickly and organized everything for me (airport pick up, luggage, etc.). The breakfast was lovely with super sweet organic fruits. The room was clean and had air conditioning. Overall, the value for money was great. It’s a good place to stay if you want to go into the Amazon.

Before even arriving, we appreciated Chip & Yessica’s prompt responses to our questions & their efficiency in arranging details like airport pick-up. The hostel is in a great location. It has amazing views over the river. Conveniently located behind a fruit & vegetable market, it is also only a block or so from the scenic Malecon & the main historic plaza. The hostel is magical. The high-ceilinged rooms are completely covered with vividly coloured murals. It reeks of charm. We took a room with a private bathroom. It was huge & the one wall was solid window looking out onto the river. The room is well-appointed with a bar fridge, reading lamps, etc. linens & great wifi provided. The common room (where an excellent breakfast can be served) also has these amazing windows & views. Chip speaks English & he & Yessica have been in Iquitos a long while so can answer all questions.

The view, the layout if the apartment, the location, the balcony, the wooden floors, the kitchen, all the little nice touches like the fan, the extremely courteous and professional staff.

Hostal Maravilla Amazónica is set in Iquitos and offers a terrace and a shared lounge. The property features river and quiet street views. It's quite close to Belen Market, which is both good (if you like outdoor food markets - think raw meat, vegetables, and loads of people) and not always great (think smells, dirt, and higher crime).

Casa de Perú Iquitos- Hotel & Restaurant is located in Iquitos. With free WiFi, this 3-star hotel has a shared lounge and a bar. The accommodation provides karaoke and luggage storage space. Very clean, comfortable and very friendly staff. It’s simple but for this price it’s very good value! And with moto taxi it was easy to move around. Mototaxi costs 5 soles for trip. Going to the airport very early morning was easy too. I booked this place twice. Highly recommend!
