We were the only guests staying that night and had a great nights sleep after a long journey. Supermarket shops about a 20/ 30 minute drive and we were able to get some food and use the microwave. Not long after we left our car left the road due to the snow and our host Per was very kind and superb and arranged for his friend to come with a tractor and rescue us. The place was truly a hidden gem with view to the nearby river and midnight sun kissin our faces. Breakfast was amazing, served in a cozy hut with fireplace including self baked bread, self made jams, coffee and other delicious brekkie items. 100% recommended!

The balcony at Cozy Cabin was the best part of our stay. It offers an elevated view of the surrounding and let us snap some nice pictures of the Northern lights. There is a bit of light pollution but manageable. It was windy one night and being able to hop into the cabin to stay warm quickly is a big plus. Marc was the most gracious host i've met. Thank you.

Excellent! A bit off and hidden in the forest, but what an astonishing view over the lake.

I had a very pleasant stay in Överkalix. What was supposed to be only a stop on my drive back to Finland from Norway, really turned into a surprisingly relaxing and beautiful time. The interior of the place is lovely and the hosts very, very nice! Totally recommend!
