For 5 days I felt I was part of a warm Thai family. My stay in this family Guesthouse, run by Rod, Nora and June together, was the highlight of 6 weeks travelling in Thailand. The first night the family took me and some other guests to a great festival near an important temple. Another day Nora and Rod took me out for lunch to eat the best Pad Thai. One morning Nora called me into the kitchen and taught me how to  cook Pad Krapao Moo. Other guests even liked my product! Every morning they serve you a different breakfast with local specialties. Apart from that you get a lot of information about Phetchaburi and its specialties (which are many). They offer a free pickup from and drop off at train or van station. Really great service! I also enjoyed using the free bicycle for exploring the countryside. The location of the Guesthouse is central and quiet, close to the river with a good view from the terrace. If you want to have the real, warm, authentic Thai experience, you must come to A+ Hometel and stay with Rod, Nora and June!

Located in Kaeng Krachan, 6.7 km from Kaeng Krachan dam lake, Kanyapa Resort กัณญภา แก่งกระจาน provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Such a quiet peaceful place - very close to Keang Krachan HQ and around 40 mins to Ban Krang checkpoint. Works as a great base for me. Cold beer at very reasonable prices and they did quite well accommodating my Vegan / Jay diet. Also helped me and my colleagues arrange a guided tour. 👌

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a pool with a view, sea view and a terrace, Coastal getaway at Cha-am is located in Ban Bang Sai Yoi. A very beautiful and large room with all the requirements, everything you need for cleaning, a vacuum cleaner, a mop, etc. The balcony is perfect. In the morning, on one side, the sunrise is on the other, while in the afternoon, there is shade. In the afternoon, on the other hand, somewhere in the morning, you have a beautiful sunset in the shadow, and on the other side, a small shade is perfect. I highly recommend it.

Set in Cha Am, 6.5 km from Maruekkhathaiyawan Palace, Sunset Homestay offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. This was a 10 out of 10 . Way better than any hotel I’ve ever stayed at . The hosts added so much to the stay , treating everyone as family. So much knowledge of the area and taking me on trip ( for a very small charge ) that I would never have done on my own. The breakfast was knocked out of the park , fresh fruit, home cooked bread and smoked meat that can’t be beat . It’s A newly built place and the staff kept the place clean . The salt water pool very nice. If I ever come back to Thailand I’ll make this a stop and if I move to Thailand I’ll come visit . Don’t miss out on the extra experience you get that’s better than any hotel I’ve stayed at
