Ideally located in the West Central District district of Tainan, Yoshi Hotel - Tainan Sinmei Branch is set 500 metres from Chihkan Tower, 1 km from Tainan Confucius Temple and 32 km from Neimen Zihjhu... I'm surprised I actually like the windowless room I was allocated very much even when I paid very little for it. It's clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. I slept extremely well there. I must have been either lucky to have very considerate neighbours who did not make noise at night or the soundproofing is superb in this hotel. The hot and cold water dispenser right outside my room was very handy. Yoshi is centrally located as so I was able to visit most places I was interested in on foot. I only had to take a taxi when I went to Anping and the train to Chiayi when I visited Gugong. The staff there are all young, energetic and extremely helpful. I've enjoyed my interactions with them and they gave me useful advice on how to get to certain places. For that, I was truly grateful.

Situated conveniently in the West Central District district of Tainan, Hope Hotel Tainan - Minsheng Branch is located 1.1 km from Tainan Confucius Temple, 35 km from Neimen Zihjhu Temple and 42 km... The hotel staff was so nice and gave us a free upgrade! They also promptly addressed any of our issues, and provided apt suggestions to our itineraries when asked. Room was vibey, clean, and very spacious. Even got a in-house coin laundry + dryer which is the cheapest among all our accoms. Hope Hotel provides their own laundry ball, so you need not fret about purchasing your own detergent. Location wise, it is very near Guohua Street (walking distance), which is full of eateries. If you are driving, can park at the nearest Hai An Street Underground carpark (closest pillar number 48). Also, there is a castella cake shop right below the hotel which is nice too (Min Dong). Definitely would rate 11/10. Exceeded our expectation.

Toe deluxe double was bright, comfortable, and clean. It was a good size for 2 people. The bidet is a nice option to have along with the shared refrigerator in the lobby and water dispenser. The location is just a short walk to Tainan station.

Set within less than 1 km of Chihkan Tower and a 19-minute walk of Tainan Confucius Temple in Tainan, Maru Yang 馬路楊宿屋 offers accommodation with free WiFi and seating area. The host was super nice and responsive. He was always very accommodating and willing to answer any questions you had about the city/area/food. The room was nice and the host was available for any issues - he speaks both English and Chinese, if needed. The place was a bit hard to find at first, but the neighbors were all really helpful in pointing it out. There's a bunch of amenities in the entrance for guests, including snacks, coffee, tea, plates, and a sitting room. Can store your bag before check in or after living. The window of the room face into the courtyard of the building. Overall a great stay!
