The location was absolute beachfront. The bungalows were quite secluded and at times I had the beach to myself. Kayaks were provided free of charge. Sylvie did her utmost to make me feel comfortable. She's a great cook with with simple affordable but tasty meals from the small restaurant. She let me keep my soy milk in her fridge, which I really appreciated. This is budget acccommodation with no electricity and solar power for lights in the bungalow. This is an "escape from the rat race" type of holiday destination. An easy walk to both the village and Champagne Beach. My days were spent swimming, kayaking, walking, reading, drawing and more swimming.

Our stay at Matevulu Lodge was absolutely fantastic. The location is perfect, with beautiful views all around. Gaelle was incredible, friendly, helpful, and so knowledgeable. She went above and beyond helping us with bookings for activities, taxis, and anything else we needed. The lodge itself has everything you could ask for: on-site hammocks to relax in, a fully functioning shared kitchen with a stove and oven, and kayaks and paddleboards that we used to explore the nearby Riri Bluehole. This accommodation, along with Gaelle’s amazing hospitality, made our first trip and honeymoon in Vanuatu one to truly remember. We will definitely be back and will stay at Matevulu Lodge again without hesitation.

Situated in Port Olry, a few steps from Port Olry Beach, Serenity Bungalows features accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. It was beautiful being able to sit on the veranda and look out at the ocean. Very relaxing. Very friendly staff.

Set in Luganville and only 3.2 km from SS President Coolidge, Bombua Beach House offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. We stayed at Bombua Beach House for 9 days in the Garden View Villa with a private pool, and it was such a beautiful, relaxing experience. The villa itself was really lovely - cute, modern, thoughtfully designed, and very generously air-conditioned which we especially appreciated on hot days. It was surrounded by lush greenery, which made it very peaceful and enjoyable to spend time there, especially lounging by the pool. It felt private, calm, and perfect for switching off completely. Ash and Stacy were great hosts - genuinely welcoming, caring, and always happy to help. You could really feel how much they care about their guests having a great stay. For the entire duration of our stay we ate at the Bombua Beach Restaurant, which was excellent. The menu - breakfast, lunch and dinner - had a great variety of delicious food and drinks, and everything we tried was fantastic. As someone with coeliac (gluten-free) requirements, we felt especially well looked after - the team were attentive and very careful with details to make sure everything was safe and enjoyable. Overall, Bombua Beach House is great place - peaceful, beautifully run, and full of heart. We’d highly recommend it and would love to return one day!

The property was beautiful and in a wonderful location waking up to an amazing sunrise every morning was bliss! And inside had everything you could want and need!

Boasting sea views, Serenity Family Treehouse features accommodation with a private beach area, a garden and a terrace, around a few steps from Port Olry Beach. This is a rustic magic experience. If you want 5* luxury look elsewhere - if you want to feel like a big kid in your own treehouse then look no further. Angelique and her lovely kids were amazing hosts. The treehouse was basic and perfect for it. Comfortable beds and the ocean right outside. Port Orly is an incredible little community for an authentic slice of Vanuatu

Boasting garden views, Kathy B Guesthouse offers accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 1.3 km from SS President Coolidge. Kathy and Luke (her husband) are incredible people. Very helpful and their guest house is simple but clean and have everything you need: kitchen, fan, hot water, privacy l. I pick these guesthouse because was close to the dive shop and I could walk in the morning to it.

This beachfront property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 Our stay at Turtle Beach was absolutely amazing. From the moment you arrive, the place really invites you to stay and relax. It’s clean, beautiful and very peaceful, perfect for unwinding. Everything is well taken care of: the kitchen is spotless and fully equipped with everything you need, and having laundry facilities available is a huge plus. Craig, Amanda and Willie truly made our stay special with their warmth and care, and Alex was also incredibly attentive, always quick to respond and very helpful. On top of that, kayaks, SUP’s and snorkelling gear are available for all guests, which makes the experience even better. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Situated in Luganville, 13 km from SS President Coolidge, Freshwater Plantation Farm Stay features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a terrace. Our stay at the freshwater Plantation farm stay was absolutely amazing! The bungallow is so beautiful, it is situated directly on the beach and has an amazing sea view. They also have a super nice restaurant, with delicious meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Try the chicken Parmiggiana! We really enjoyed the evenings with Vini and Klaas, to talk about interesting topics by a glass of wine. We did the diving at the coolidge, while we stayed at their accommodation and they drove us every time and picked us up. We also went snorkelling, right in front of the bungallow and the reef is pretty decent (we even saw morey eels and lion fish). It grows back slowly after the cyclone.

Barrier Beach Resort offers accommodation in Saraotou, 20 minutes' drive from Santo Pekoa International Airport. This beachfront property features an on-site restaurant. Staff super friendly. Vibe truly relaxed. The communal areas for breakfast and afternoon drinks were really nice and a good place to converse with fellow travellers if you like. We were able to organise everything through the hotel on the day - in promptu snorkelling, car hire for the next day delivered to the hotel - made the less fun bits of the trip super easy.
