It was a charming place, beautifully decorated from the main building to the suites just on the outside, which were perfectly equipped if you choose to stay a couple of nights. Just get out of the city and watch the stars, make a wood fire. The conceive of the place and the friendliness of the staff was very welcoming. I’d definitely recommend this to any travelers seeking a place to rest. Couples or family’s even for a single travel. I brought the whole family and they were very accommodating with pre booking and making reservations.

After a long drive from Botswana that's what we needed a comfortable and clean place with all that you need for self catering. Fridge was filled with drinks which came with a price list. Mart is very friendly 😁. It's a good place to hide and relax after long road drive from Joburg to Cape Town. Ours was a one night stop and sleep over.👍😀

Boasting an open-air bath and views of mountain, Rooilande Guest Farm is a recently renovated apartment situated in Laingsburg, 25 km from The Marie Rawdon Museum. What a discovery!!! And that's coming from a really picky traveler. We were looking for a night over place on our way north but when we arrived at Rooilande farm we decided immediately to stay an extra night. The area is huuuge, you're driving good 20 min from the main road. Bungalows look brand new, super well designed. Rooms are more than spacious, you get storage area, well equipped kitchen, bathroom with beautiful bathtub with window next to it. The highlight however is a terrace facing the valley. You see nothing else but sky and hills. A zebra occasionally walks in the distance to a water tank. Absolute peace and quiet. There are several animals on the farm almost all of them rescues bunch of horses, ostrich a dog, a cat, few Alpacas. All of it plus exceptional hosts made our stay a divine experience. We wish we could stay there longer.

Amazing sunset to watch from the patio and a Karoo night sky and stars which was priceless. ⁸Ordered braai packs, salads and roosterkoek from our hosts for our evening BBQ. It was delicious! Overall a wonderful stay and would recommend them strongly. Would go back without a doubt.
