Very calm place. Though at first I thought it would be too boring there, I quite enjoyed it. The singing birds, the view from the mountains are very relaxing.

From the moment we arrived, our every need was catered for expertly, swiftly and with flourish of personalised service that has is well above the standard of many other accommodations. Bandula was the man in charge while the owner was on leave - and he was fabulous. It was very quiet here and we were the only guests for some of the stay, so we enjoyed the luxury of full attention of all the staff. This place is a gorgeous small boutique hotel set in an old tea plantation house, away from Kandy centre, set high up on a ridge, from where you gaze down across the whole valley and surrounding hills that cradle this British colonial capital. Beautiful and spacious, the property comprises just two floors - an elegant and relaxing ground floor space split between a large lounge, spacious dining room and bar, and an outdoor garden and pool area. We stayed in the Lemongrass Deluxe Garden Room. Wonderful huge room - four poster bed draped with mosquito nets, terrific balcony with awesome views. Fab large TV perfect for binging Netflix at night after days of exploring, enjoying attentive room service. Breakfasts were nourishing - it was great to sit out in the garden - and other dishes from the menu were available most of the day

Dankzij hem hebben we plekken bezocht die we anders nooit hadden ontdekt. Het huis zelf is prachtig gelegen en voelt direct als thuis. Onze kamer was ruim, brandschoon en heerlijk comfortabel, met alles wat je nodig hebt. We hadden volledige privacy, maar konden altijd bij hem terecht met vragen of hulp. Dit verblijf heeft onze ervaring in Kandy écht naar een hoger niveau getild. Als je op zoek bent naar een fijne plek met een warme, behulpzame gastheer en een mooie, nette kamer: niet twijfelen, hier boeken! Een van de beste accommodaties die we tijdens onze reis hebben gehad. Wij komen zeker terug! 🙌

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kandy Siebel Bungalow, hosted by Anoma and her daughter. Although my stay was brief—just one night—I was thoroughly impressed. Upon arrival, I was welcomed warmly and offered a delicious dinner.My room was beautifully upgraded to feature one large double bed and a single bed, perfect for families or groups. The stunning mountain view from my room was a highlight, and the fast, stable Wi-Fi made my stay even more enjoyable.The location is excellent, just a 23-minute walk from the train station, in a lovely area with good bus connections. Anoma's kindness and helpfulness truly made this homestay a memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Wat een ontzettend aardige, behulpzame gastheren bij Knuckles Range Bungalow. En wat kunnen ze lekker koken! Alles vers uit de eigen tuin en niets is ze teveel. We sliepen in de familiekamer. Voor een nachtje op doorreis is deze prima, voor een langer verblijf is de kamer eigenlijk te klein. Slapen met de deur open en wakker worden met een fenomenaal uitzicht!

Lion Shade Tourist Bungalow - Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority Licenced ligt in Katugastota, op 6,1 km van Winkelcentrum Kandy City Center, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en... Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Relaxing and very comfortable. Nice, clean and quiet place. Outdoor garden with lush greenery enhanced that experience. Staff are super friendly and helpful. On our request they arranged transportation to attractions in and around Kandy. Sri Lankan breakfast served was fantastic. They have continental type breakfast too. Will definitely stay here again during our next trip to Sri Lanka.
