Location in Kata Beach, Fantasy Hill Bungalow has scooters for rent, garden and free WiFi throughout the property. Among the various facilities of this property are a shared lounge and a sun terrace. Very central location, the bungalow had everything that was on the tin, aircon, fan, tea/coffee making facilities, a big bed, a hot water shower, and a quiet area, even though it is near the beach.

The biggest positive is the host, they go above and beyond what I would expect with quickness to respond and courteous manner. Because I arrived late, self check-in was flawless. I loved the pool because it is easy to access. Not like other rooftop pools I have had but never use. The Kleenex and toilet paper are better quality. This may seem minor, but it means something to me as well as having hangers without requesting. The bed and pillows are comfortable. The snacks are a nice touch. I’ve had this at other hotels, but it’s just a nice touch. Short walk to the beach and restaurants. Flexibility with checkout was greatly appreciated.

Exceeded my expectations and I booked the room for two more nights. The family overseeing the guesthouse was kind and one of the nicest people I have met. If you are looking for a quiet, clean, and affordable place close to the beach, this is the place. Also, the beds were super comfy!
