We stayed here when taking the slow boat from Luang Prabang to Thailand. Free pickup from the pier back to the villa. The property was really clean, with a nice big comfy bed which was much needed after a long day on the boat, good A/C and a fan and a clean bathroom with a hot shower, good water pressure and free towels. The restaurant serves some great food in the evening for a good price and the breakfast in the morning is massive and so good!

Lovely hotel in a really quiet, beautiful location. My room and veranda overlooked the river. Wished I had stayed for more than 1 night. Great dining room, perfect for an evening meal and breakfast.

The Sanctuary Lodge is located high on a hill overlooking the Mekong River. Our room offered an amazing advantage point to see the sunset and enjoy the quiet, beautiful location. The staff were very helpful offering, excellent service. The cocktails and food were also very good.

It is one of the first hostels right by the pier, so you don't have to walk far. The owners were very friendly and the young woman spoke english very well. Our room with enclosed bathroom had a functioning a/c and mosquito nets for the windows. The room was very clean and the owner allowed us to fill our water bottles in the restaurant.

I was the only female in a 10 bed dorm with 9 men. After many requests later was reluctantly moved to a dorm with more females. Communal balcony overlooking the Mekong was wonderful at sunset & sunrise.

Nice place to stay one night during the slow boat trip. They have a nice terrace where you can see the sunset. As every hostel they search their guests on the port when you arrive...
