I was birdwatching through Queensland and this accommodation is in effect in the middle of a top quality wetland reserve. There are only three units in this private wetland and when we stayed we were the only people there. The units were excellent and the owners provided an excellent basket with fresh bread, eggs, coffee etc. The guests have the full use of what must have previously been the wetland reception area and it has a fully fitted, top quality kitchen. It was a surreal experience staying for three days on our own in a top quality wetland but an unforgetable one.

Absolutely beautiful. Such a wonderful location, we couldn't have asked for anything more perfect. We could have sat on the veranda all day watching the different birds come and go. The children loved the pool. Location wise we were within 10-15 minutes of everywhere we needed to go, yet far away enough to be in our own little area of paradise.

It was so easy to get to - a short walk from the ferry, and so easy access to the island bus service and walking tracks around Nelly Bay. The "tents" were extremely well appointed and comfortable!
