Location, cleanliness, size of room, quiet, nice hot shower.
Tranquil peaceful location, very comfortable big bed, spacious property, idilic views including patio to watch the sunset
The setting is absolutely fantastic. Sunset from the bar decking was a delight. We had stayed in The Masons arms in Branscombe the night before which is owned by St Austells Brewery as well and it had a similar feel. The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed - and seemed quite new. The staff were young, enthusiastic, very friendly and could not be more helpful. I would recommend The Hope and Anchor - but don't go as we want it for ourselves!
It was so relaxing The sunsets were beautiful Facilities fab Staff so friendly Just a wonderful part of the world
Property was exactly what we wanted. Felt clean and spacious and had all the facilities we needed. Was nice to have welcome tea/coffee/milk and sponge/dishwasher tablet etc. loved the location, right in the middle of westward Ho :) Great that there is free parking and a loft to all floors too. I requested sea view and got this. Enjoyed watching beautiful sunsets from the balcony.
Beautiful location, quiet and calm. Riverside seating to have a drink and watch the wildlife. Extremely helpful staff who did their best to resolve an issue with the TV. Delicious food. Good, hot shower. Room was as described, and the beds were comfortable.
it’s incredible. parents well know how stressful holidays actually are but this is different. it’s relaxed, comfortable and easy going. lots of space around the safari tents. excellent location 20 minutes from a great beach and lots of wild swimming spots in dartmoor. lovely treats to buy at the honesty shop. we didn’t have the time to use the outdoor bath but we al wanted to. the kitchen is unbelievably well kitted out. I can’t recall wanting anything.
