We have visited the UK three times over 35 years and have always visited Branscombe and stayed at The Masons Arms. It is unique world wide in our opinion and hopefully we will be back one day. The whole Hotel team should be congratulated on their efficiency and friendliness. So too the Owners for maintaining the uniqueness of the facility, keep up the good work. Peggy and Lindsay Thomas

The Passage House Hotel and Passage House Inn is a large hotel in Newton Abbott. The hotel at the time of booking was undergoing some reservations of the leisure facilities, however, this didn't spoil our stay. We had evening dinner with friends at the Passage House Inn and the food and atmosphere was just amazing. Afterwards, our room was large, the bed was comfortable which meant that we had a good nights sleep. Breakfast had a range of continental and cooked foods - the Eggs Royale is highly recommended. Will we return to the Passage House Hotel - absolutely 100% and we can't wait to return.

Wonderful location. Right next to Croyde beach. Really enjoyed the facilities, there were plenty of games to choose from. Everything we needed was there. It's an ideal spot for families and we were a collection of families and were able to mix very comfortably. I liked that you could easily hire surf gear also, and that the lovely village is walking distance.

There was a lot to like about Ilfracombe, plenty of places to walk, and also places to eat. The high Street shops were not always open and there were a few buildings that required some maintenance. Down by the harbour was the best place to be and this area appeared to be better maintained.

Was booked for 3 nights not knowing it was Steam Punk W/E, which was a bonus. Lots of places to see & things to do, but doe's get chilly early afternoon when the sun drops below Lynton. (Our advice then to visitors is the short drive or walk to the Valley of the Rocks where you get sun until later in the evening.) Also worth the 2 or 3 mile walk up the river to Watersmeet Tea Room for an enjoyable lunch stop.

Beach very clean and large. Great to see lots of dogs playing in the sea. We ate at Wetherspoons in town centre as they offer a good vegan breakfast at a great price especially compared to our hotel. The promenade by the sea is quaint and clean unspoilt with no horrid seaside arcades. Lots of things to do in the area. Definately visiting again in summer so we can swim in the sea and hotel pool

First impression was a helpful car attendant as I was tired and he helped me. Lovely reception area and smiley receptionist. Room was spacious & very comfortable. I have stayed in rooms with a balcony at this hotel & great views. Mine was a lower cost/ grade but was relaxing and I could see the sea & mill bay. Restaurant had a buzz and good food. Salcome is buzzy with a really good range of independent shops etc. beautiful surrounds and love the quirky ferries. Love the little hidden lanes lost in time. Happy memories of my childhood and has that sort of feel
