The surrounding view is stunning, owner was friendly and went above and beyond for our stay. Adding little personal touches. The dome decor is beautiful - on site facilities are clean. We even extended our stay by an extra day as we were so happy. A privilege to be the first to stay in the new dome tent - can't wait to come back.

Everything, the cabin, the hot tub, the location, the owners were nothing but friendly. Fire and hot tub lit on arrival, a good central location with some stunning parts of Devon 30 minutes away. Not to forget the home made brownies and cider on arrival!

Situated just 17 km from Westward Ho!, Old Pound Smithy features accommodation in Bideford with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen. The tent was super clean and cosy and full of lovely vibes, the host was welcoming kind and provided us with a new fire pit which we used instantly, the facilities were super close, super clean and super cosy

Boasting a hot tub, Cherry Tree Safari Lodge is set in Talaton. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. This was our second stay and we're so glad we chose it again. It's such a beautiful and tranquil spot. Perfect base for visiting family in Ottery St Mary and exploring southeast Devon. My Guide Dog loved having a roam around the campsite first thing every morning. We were fortunate to have sun for most of our trip, so we enjoyed the outside area and had a barbeque. The hot tub was fab again and thankfully Jo had it ready for our arrival. Sitting there in the warm twilight with a cold glass of fizz was just what we needed after a long drive. The tent is so well appointed and the space to relax in and around has been thoughtfully created. Lovely to walk around the quiet local back roads to Talaton, where there's a lovely well stocked shop, which was impressively open on the bank holiday weekend, and a cosy, friendly traditional pub for a proper Sunday roast. It's a fantastic spot to rest and recharge, off the grid with no distractions. Definitely booking for next year!

Wheeldon Escapes, a property with a garden, is situated in Totnes, 9.1 km from Watermans Arms, 11 km from Totnes Castle, as well as 19 km from Dartmouth Castle. Host was very accommodating as we booked at very short notice. They welcomed us after 9pm and showed us our accommodation without any issues. Very good of them.

The Holcombe Hut, Ridgefield House, a property with a garden and barbecue facilities, is set in Longdown, 16 km from Sandy Park Rugby Stadium, 28 km from Newton Abbot Racecourse, as well as 18 km from... Our stay at the hut was amazing. Lovely inside and out. Nice and clean. Everything we needed was there, we used the fire pit the bbq and the pizza oven. The owners checked if we needed anything multiple times. Told us about all the local walks ect. We even had a welcome pack of eggs, some Buck’s Fizz and some biscuits. There was tea coffee and milk which was very useful. The owners made sure the garden was secure for my dogs which was great! The sky light was lovely. It was so cozy. The owners were so lovely too , honestly couldn’t recommend the hut and the owners enough !! 10/10 and will definitely come back.
