It was beautiful, located far enough from the city centre to feel calm and isolated but close enough that you can walk to the nearest town. Or there is a very convenient bus directly in front of the property. The beach is completely private and only reachable by boat or swimming over from a private platform (you can borrow inflatable mattresses at the property, or just do what I did and bring waterproof bags), it is less than 50m and very doable. Sometimes I was alone on the beach for some hours, the boat users don't come on land so often and it is possible to stay in the shade all day. The food at the restaurant is delicious and a lot of the ingredients are picked directly from the farm. The people working there are super lovely and helpful and were always friendly and available for anything. The steps are a lot but I'm extremely unfit and don't do sport and I managed it fine anyway, if you are a sporty person it will be even easier. I slept like a baby every night, there were many mosquitoes outside but in the tent it wasn't a problem. Also I got a free cat when I arrived that hung out in my tent area and let me pet it a lot I was very sad to leave Bella Baia and would come back again 100000%. Highly recommended and definitely will come again.
