Fantastic property, incredibly clean, welcoming (with Sandy who made every part of our stay so easy), and fantastic breakfast spread. The hot tub was great and we loved the bed! We also loved meeting Benji and will need to come back!

The neighbours, alpacas and sheep, very well behaved and most appreciative of the complimentary feeding pellets. Outside bath surprisingly warm even in the cool night air. In summary, just perfect.

It's isolated which is so nice, it felt like we were alone in the forest. We had everything we needed for cooking (other than food, which we brought) and cleaning up and keeping warm. Even though it was somewhat cloudy, we saw so many stars at night and it was amazing. Be careful to bring your trash inside because we heard a bunch of bumping around and night and when we shined the flashlight, there was a possum rummaging around in the kitchen! Thankfully we didn't have anything left outside, so it wasn't a big deal. Overall this was such a great experience, maybe my favorite in our south island trip.
