HighTree Chalets features a hot tub, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Peebles. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. This place was an unexpected treasure. Everything down to the fresh baked goods in our room, bath salts for the outdoor tub and chocolates on our pillows was a step beyond. Casey worked with us on arrival and departure times. The views are beautiful, your own private pond and the cabin was exceptionally clean. I wish we would have had more than one night but we would work this place into our trip every time. It is beautiful. We stayed in several other cabins, and this was by far the best because of all the special details. Thank you for all your special attention to the little things.

Situated in Lake Hawea and only 13 km from Puzzling World, Cross Hill Glamping features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. If I could give this place 100 stars out of 10, I would. I feel so lucky that my friend and I snagged a night here - it was hands down the nicest place we stayed in New Zealand. The dome is massive - plenty of space for two people to spread out. The bed is new and comfortable - there is a separate 'closet' space and luggage rack for each person including robe and slippers. Dome includes a full blown coffee station with espresso machine and luxury teas. And the breakfast is delicious - hash browns, poached eggs, sprouts(!!), fresh squeezed OJ, and they give you your own carafe of coffee. The lake is a 5 min walk and with a full moon, it was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen (note: this moonlight also pours into your dome through transparent ceiling). The beach nearby has few people and there is a sauna (we skipped this and swam at the beach anyways). Will at front desk came out to meet us and help us with directions/bags to our dome, and the owners were there offering us appetizers. Digby the pupper was also part of the wonderful welcome committee - it was the best arrival experience I've had in years. Richard (Rick?) the owner also recommended what we should do the next day (Siberian Experience), and it was also one of the best things we did on our trip. If there is availability here, do not hesitate to book it. Lovely spot and very special humans. Will even brought me a brownie when I was working late and on calls. The view from the kitchen area was amazing, only 10 min from the center of town, the alpacas were the highlight of my stay!

Situated within 10 km of Shotover River and 12 km of Lake Wakatipu in Queenstown, Glam Camping Queenstown provides accommodation with seating area. This spot is amazing and almost surreal in it’s amazing surroundings. We had their hired chef fix our dinner - highly recommend it. Superb! We wouldn’t change a thing, it was absolutely fabulous.

Situated within 8.3 km of Puzzling World and 12 km of The Wanaka Tree in Wanaka, Mt Gold Glamping offers accommodation with seating area. Everything. It's isolated which is so nice, it felt like we were alone in the forest. We had everything we needed for cooking (other than food, which we brought) and cleaning up and keeping warm. Even though it was somewhat cloudy, we saw so many stars at night and it was amazing. Be careful to bring your trash inside because we heard a bunch of bumping around and night and when we shined the flashlight, there was a possum rummaging around in the kitchen! Thankfully we didn't have anything left outside, so it wasn't a big deal. Overall this was such a great experience, maybe my favorite in our south island trip.
