It’s just off the main road which you can easily access and be in town within 10 minutes walking or even quicker by bike that you’re allowed to borrow free of charge.

There is everything you need for comfortable stay, also the tent itself is very durable, has a few layers so you are quite safe from the outer wild world, which are just a few steps away. Would like to mention - staying there you are IN a nature and WITH the nature:) The service of staff/team is top notch - fast response, great reaction and super helpful. The dinner (hotpot) and breakfast was 10 out of 10 too. Thank you for our stay, that we will don’t forget.

It was my last week in Thailand, and I wanted to isolate myself on a peaceful island. I found this place on Google Maps, and it turned out to be an incredible experience — living in nature, camping, and spending time with a beautiful Thai family. I’m truly grateful to Tom and his family, who were kind, warm, and very attentive. They picked me up from the pier, invited me to dinner several times, and even helped me shop at the island’s minimarket. They were always checking in to make sure I had everything I needed. Tom also guided me around and helped me explore the island. As for the campsite, it’s well set up. One day there was a storm, and the tent held up perfectly. The island is very natural, with a rich insect ecosystem, so I recommend bringing repellent. Still, this is part of the island’s charm — wild, untouched, and unlike any other island I visited in Thailand. If you're looking for a place without tourists, surrounded by nature and ideal for meditation or disconnecting, this is the perfect spot.

Staff was very friendly. The room was very comfortable and clean. The property was beautiful. The breakfast was delicious.

I cannot reccomend Wassana highly enough, if you don't mind a more rustic feel. The staff were so lovely, meals were amazing, the location literally could not be closer to the park, and they will book everything for you.

We were greeted warmly and spent our first evening teaching and playing "Mau Mau" - Uno but with a regular card game. We extended our stay as we found it peaceful, quiet, beautiful and very chill. They also have a Bar where you could spend the evening:) If you have a scooter you can get everywhere within 10 minutes!
