Aside from that, this was by far the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. The waiter was extremely friendly, and the host was incredibly helpful—he even assisted us throughout the next day in finding great activities in Urubamba, even though we hadn’t booked an additional night. Adorable little llamas are brought near the dome in the morning, making the experience even more magical. And as for breakfast… absolutely incredible. An unforgettable experience! I highly recommend this stay—wow!

It was just us and another pair there so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The bed was nice ( two twins pushed together with king sheets) and a very nice set of blankets that were very warm. We ate at the place our host told us to go to for dinner and breakfast ( breakfast was included there) and it was delicious. Staying in pods like this does give you little privacy during the daytime but the stars were out in force at night and the view of Humantay was excellent from the property. Washrooms were very clean. We didn’t try the shower but there was an on demand heater. The host was super responsive on WhatsApp which was great!

Last but not least, the guy who runs the facility is incredibly friendly and available, always smiling and ready to help you. The location is situated a few minutes from Santa Maria and it is a perfect starting point both for various activities organized by the lodge as well as for reaching Hydroelectrica by car/moto/taxi and then walk to Machu Picchu. From here it is also possible to walk a part of Inca Trail. We decided to extend our stay for an extra night since we found a piece of home here! Thanks for everything! Very recommended!
