A recently renovated campground located in Gällivare, Piilijärvi Camping features a shared lounge. Everything was clean and seemed to be fairly recently renovated. Communal spaces were clean with quite well equipped kitchen. Sauna was great and lake was good for swimming. Location next to the main road is very useful.

With lake views, Nordic Lapland Frevisören is situated in Båtskärsnäs and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden, outdoor fireplace and children's playground. Very nice chalet, small but cozy. We were four so it was a bit small for our teenagers slept in the sofa bed and when it is open it takes half of the living space. Having a private sauna was great! Note there is only a little plug in stove and a little microwave. Nice direct view to the Baltic ocean arm.
