I really enjoyed my stay — the location is perfect, right in the heart of Deadwood on the main street, so everything was within walking distance. The bathroom was a highlight: modern, spacious, and even had a bathtub, which is a rare treat. Although breakfast wasn’t included, the convenience of private parking right next to the hotel was a huge plus and made things so much easier.

Located just off the main street of historic Deadwood, this hotel features the on-site Wooden Nickel Casino with slots, video gaming, and more. Free WiFi is available. Hotel staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Chatted with us and all around the type of people happy to have guests from all over. We live close enough to frequent Deadwood but a person being first time to Deadwood, would have felt invited to enjoy the town!... adjacent casino machines with bar was absolutely great too with the bartender lady there taking care of us and making my friend's birthday great before we went out on the town and came back to greet my husband and I in the morning when we came to play slots again

Hotel remodeled in 2025 and across the street from the Days of '76 Museum. Clean and good location. Breakfast was great. Even stayed an extra night
