Everything! The (feels isolated) location in the woods and closeness to town, the pre dug tunnels in the snow to play in, the heated floors in the bathroom, the huge couch, the kids loved the “secret room” and the swing. They loved the swing so much they are now asking for one in our house! We even made dinner one night and stayed in. And got an aurora showing!

The location of this property was great. It was close enough to drive to all the places we planned but also felt like we were far enough away to have such a great winter vibe. the main road driving in had several igloo cabins which leds me to believe that its a good location to view auroras, unfortunately we went and had snow and clouds everyday so we did not have a chance to see an. The apartment was clean, had plenty of supplies on hand in the front cabin and tons of room for my family. The entry had plenty of racks, storage and a drying unit to help aid in the transition from outside to inside. our snow gear was always ready and warm for the next outing. The log cabin aesthetic inside and out added such a cozy yet elevated touch to our trip. it was warm, had a fully equipped fire place, and sauna. The tall ceilings in the living space made it feel bigger. they kids loved the loft and nook with window and like looking outside. The kitchen was stocked with all essentials and we loved that the apartment was decorated with a christmas tree during the holidays. Check in was at the local pub which I thought was different, but honestly it was perfect because we were able to grab the keys and some supplies from the local store nearby and head over right at check in.

Loved it! The cabin is a perfect mix of "rustic log cabin" with "modern, convenient, and comfortable home." Greatly enjoyed the sauna (with a snow bath) and the gorgeous serene location. Well-equipped kitchen. Comfy sofa near fireplace. Beautiful snowy field in the back, which becomes a pretty pond during the warm months, I think. We caught a little bit of Northern Lights from the back porch, as well as colorful sunsets. Really nice place and friendly hosts.

A very comfortable cabin. Warm, quiet, spacious and lovely having a beautiful sauna and fire. Well equipped kitchen and a generous load of wood for the fire.
