Cabins in Grootfontein

Very peaceful accommodation. They have lots of wild life on their property. Rhinos are the highlight. They are doing amazing job protecting them. Each Rhino group has its own security guard. Room vas specious and beds were very comfortable. Food was tasty. Waterhole is close to the pool and has hideout to observe wild life. While we enjoyed by the pool we saw Kudu, Gisele, Antelope, Baboon, Warthog... We took the Rhino drive tour and we saw Giraffe, Zebra, Rhino, Kudu, Gisele, Antelope, Baboon, Warthog...

Staff was kind and helpful. The Camp is in a strategically good place, out of the town, where we had not too nice experiences with the agressively barking men. The camp is recommended to transit passengers. Dinner was perfect.

This property was absolutely one of our favourite stops in our trip around the country. It is so uniquely an artsy, rustic boutique place to stay. The staff Geraldine, Nico and others are phenomenal, so welcoming and friendly. Our meals were delicious, the rooms cozy and comfortable. All of the metalwork art, seating areas, etc made the place a delight. It was the perfect place to stop for the night before our morning visit out to the Ju/Hoasi-San Living Museum.
