Stayed one night in room with window seat. Good sized room very nicely appointed - encouraged to use slippers inside on arrival which adds to cosy nature of property. Service was excellent, as was breakfast and dinner. Complimentary tea/coffee available all day. Good spot for hiking and northern lights (if weather permits). Must be fantastic in winter.

6.2 mi from Alta City and 1640 feet from Alta River lies Trasti & Trine Boutique Hotel. Surrounded by forest, the location offers good hiking, skiing and biking trails straight from the cottage door.

This vacation was a once in a lifetime experience. The location was perfect to see the northern lights, the restaurant served food of the quality of a Michelin star restaurant, and the staff was extremely friendly. Even though the location was quite remote, there were plenty of activities to do. PS: it is also a great place to propose to your girlfriend - a guaranteed YES (from personal experience) :)

Great staff, very accommodating service, good food options for dietary restrictions, good self-service sauna, great information for first time visitors, convenient information for tourists and first-timers along with booking activities, looking forward to come back and book again for the next visit.

Staying at Holmen Husky is an experience far away from staying at an ordinary hotel. We want our guests to get closer to nature and to get a taste of what it is like to live close to the elements.

We had an all around fantastic stay. Staff was really nice and proactive to make you feel at home. The included breakfast and the meals we ordered were delicious. Certainly a fantastic experience if you're looking for something other than the usual hotel room. And as luck has had it the weather allowed us to see a beautiful aurora right there and then.
