We specifically stayed at Tromso Lodge and Camping to increase our odds of seeing the northern lights, and it paid off each night we were there. In fact, the first night we could see the northern lights through the glass in the ceiling (photo below). Doesn't get much better than being snuggled in bed watching one of the greatest beauties Mother Nature has to offer.

The place is perfect for us. It’s quiet , very clean , the bed is so comfy and most of all the view is amazing. Aurora Borealis shows off twice in a week. It’s like a fairy tale it danced above us so gracefully. The mountain in front of the house is beautiful and the sea view at the dining area was very relaxing it’s like a picture frame it’s unbelievably mesmerizing. The owner was very helpful we really appreciate all your help during our stay.

Very spacious house, parking no problem. Access is via a partly steeper dirt road, but was no problem even for a normal car. Perfect place, if one wants to stay in nature far from other houses. Excellent place to watch northern lights (absolutely no light pollution, large panoramic windows). Beautiful large terrace with chairs and tables to enjoy the gorgeous view to the mountains. House has everything needed and is perfectly clean. We have not met the hosts in person, but communication was very easy.

This place is very well provisioned - had absolutely everything we needed during our stay. The owners were very helpful and communicative. The house itself was very comfortable for our family. The location is absolutely stunning, the mountain and sea views were breathtaking. We did one of the hikes recommended by the host and couldn't have asked for better weather to see the surrounding islands.

The place is exceptionally georgeus. Beautiful and modern furnitures, full of everything you may possibly need. Great lighting and ambiance. Beds are extremely comfortable. Great choice for quite, scenic, in nature place seekers. Bonus: Warm, helpful, friendly and respectful host. We visit in a very snowy time. He cleaned the paths and our cars from the snow free of demand. He left some organic eggs from their chickens and also put few drinks to the fridge for us before we arrived.
