Hütten in Karlstad

We booked this house because we were on a roadtrip through the south of Sweden and wanted for a few days some peace and quiet in between the other destinations - and that was what we got! What a WONDERFUL house and garden. We couldn't believe it at first, like, what, that is all ours? The garden: So many flowers, trees, grass, decorations, many places with table and chairs, a wooden deck in front of and behind the house. Also there is a barbecuearea with some chairs around it and of course a barbecue. It is clear that Gabriella loves the garden and it`s not just there/made for the tourists. The house is an old red bungalow which was lived in once (I think). A lot of knickknacks decorating the rooms which make you feel at home at once. The furnishing is a mixture of old and new which I absolutely adored, especially the old kitchen cabinets - so lovely. The kitchen is fully equipped, everything you need and more. New fridge (with big freezer), stove, kettle, microwave, dishwasher - all there. So many dishes and things you could do without but are handy that they are there. New BIG bathroom with shower and whirlpool (which we didn't use but still nice that we could have), 2 washing machines. A dining area, a livingroom, two extra beds there, 3 sofas, enough storingspace and a cute veranda. Bedsidetables and lamps, plugs next to the bed! 2 Minutes walk to the lake/beach (sand) - which is also very quiet and peaceful. Grocery shopping should be done before you arrive - the next big supermarket is in Kristinehamn (or we couldn't find one nearer ;-)) There is one in Väse but as far as I could find out it is a self-service supermarket and works only when you are registered and can use swish - which we as non swedish inhabitants don't have. Around you, you have a few houses, but it really is quiet and solitary.
