Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, free BBQ facilities and a free airport shuttle, Saltbush Retreat is a 3 minutes’ drive from Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame and Qantas Founders Museum. Perfect! Lovely design and very comfortable. We were in a Stables room. Took 'The Spirit of the Outback' overnight train from Brisbane with my husband and 11 year old and after 26 hours we could have kept going. Too hot to go to Uluru and this was a great alternative to see a bit of the Outback. Saltbush Retreat was a very welcome oasis in the extreme heat (well, extreme for me :-) Picked this hotel for its location (across street from the 2 museums and airport) and for the outdoor bathtubs but the museums were closed for the holidays and I never got in the bathtub so what I really remember is a huge clean cool room and absolutely fantastic staff. Ron gave us a little drive around tour of town as the museums were closed and a lovely lady dropped us at the airport. Monica is the local taxi lady. AUD$15 to get from town back to Saltbush.

This accommodation was the highlight of our sunshine coast holiday, if only we knew how beautiful and well stocked that IGA was we would have stayed here the whole time, def will be back! The host did advise the iga was well stocked but I honestly did not think it would be for a country town but seriously it has just about everything!!! My brother would love to buy that cabin. Location is a short drive to Maleny. Comfy beds, easy check in, cabin is a 11 out of 10! Thank you

Located in Arcadia in the Magnetic Island region, with Geoffrey Bay Beach and Alma Bay Beach nearby, Dandaloo Gardens provides accommodation with free private parking. Very friendly staff. Great location. spacious room well equipped kitchen. Nice pool. Wildife around the house (koala).
