I stayed for a few days in a shared dorm after El Camino de La Muerte and it was great! Very easy to get to with public transportation (to/from La Paz). They give you a map of the property so you can go explore all of its trails and viewpoints. Great place to enjoy nature and relax! There are 2 pools and even a yoga/meditation room. It’s a 20 minute walk to the main town. The restaurant has really good food, portions and fair prices.

The view from the room / bed was just spectacular, and the room and bed themselves were super comfortable - we got great sleep!Staff were very kind and flexible and the morning breakfast was great - they even made pancakes for my partner’s birthday one morning! Thank you for a lovely stay it was very relaxing.

Beautiful and large room, with a hot shower! Stunning location and a really friendly family running it! We stayed in for dinner and it was better than what you can expect up the hill, breakfast was also very generous for Bolivian styles. Couldn’t recommend enough. Also what booking.com says is the price is the price, they don’t price hike like many other near by ( there’s service at the property where most are out of range) + WiFi

The room was of a lovely standard very comfortable bed and the best view I’ve ever had from a room I’ve stayed in. They sent a lady and a donkey down to pick up our luggage from the beach which was a great help as it was an incredibly steep Hill up to the Accommodation but worth a walk.

Hostal Mirador del Sol, ubicado en Comunidad Challapampa, ofrece alojamiento 2,6 km de Chinkana y Mama Ojjlla. Algunas unidades incluyen terraza y/o balcón con vista al lago. Por ahora no ofrece servicio de desayuno pero a 150 metros hay varios restoranes y tiendas. También es la misma zona para embarcar las lanchas. El anfitrión fue muy amable. Muy buen servicio de Internet.
