Located 21 km from Cahal Pech, Green Valley Inn offers an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. We had a wonderful stay in this piece of heaven. We stayed in one of the wooden lodges with warm (!!) outdoor showers. If you look up you just see the trees and birds! We saw and heard the toucan from our room, saw the hummingbirds sitting in the trees and around the feeder, and even heard a nightjar at night! There is a small fridge with beverages to purchase in the room, and free coffee and tea. The food at breakfast and dinner is wonderful (I tried many new things) and there is always good energy in the kitchen, everyone is so friendly! Marcella also has a lot of really helpful travel advice and always looked out for how to help! :) Thank you so much for this amazing stay!

The location, facilities & the staff were terrific! Sleeping Giant Resort is located right off beautiful Humming Bird Hwy, not that far from Belmopan, close to Herman's Cave & The Blue Hole. I believe the whole resort & development covers 500 acres, so it feels like you are in your own world! We loved the bikes, hiking trails, bridges, lookout tower, animals (poultry, peacocks, sheep, horses, bunnies, turtles, birds), river/tubing, outdoor wood-fire pizza dining area, restaurants, pools, gardens, sitting areas, large rooms, everything was bonus! We felt like celebrities lol, all the staff was amazing, friendly, kind, so helpful! The higher price justified the inclusions & amenities. We came during low season & stayed in Riverview room #5, so it was a great value. We loved everything about this place & can't wait to return! Thank you <3

Featuring a year-round outdoor pool, Javiellie Luxury Villa in San Ignacio offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. The home is brand new and sitting on a hill with a beautiful view of the jungle and pool down below. Frankie, the owner and operator, was amazing. He helped book all of our tours and made sure that everything was as it should be with the home. He picked us up at the airport and drove us back with a stop at the ziplines on the way back to Belize City. His home is very nice and located about 2 miles outside of downtown San Ignacio, so it's an easy trip into town for dinner.

Our bungalow at Yuma's Riverfront Lodge was gorgeous! Beautiful, modern design, luxurious bedding, spacious bathroom with rain shower, stocked bar fridge & snacks, and incredible rainforest views from our private deck. The new pool was very refreshing, and home-cooked breakfast served at their outdoor kitchen before our daily adventures was amazing! Our stay highly exceeded our expectations for the price - it was glorious for our family (2 adults and 2 teenagers). We used Xplore Inland Tours for three adventures near San Ignacio / Santa Elena: (1) Guided Moutain Pine Ridge Tour (including a visit to Rio Frio Cave, then a traditional Belizian picnic lunch, and a stop to swim in pools and waterfalls at Rio On Pools); (2) Guided Cave Tubing at Nohoch Che'en; and (3) Horseback Riding under the rainforest canopy along a beautiful river. This is a smaller, family-run tour operator that gave us private tours for a better price that huge tour operators with giant groups. Best of both worlds - our guides were amazing and we got such personalized service! They even picked us up and dropped us off at Yuma's Riverfront Lodge each day, instead of us having to find our own way into San Ignacio. Perfect! 10/10

Featuring free WiFi, Table Rock Lodge offers accommodation in Cristo Rey. San Ignacio is 3.4 km away. Free private parking is available on site. Some units include a balcony and/or patio. Lovely property, in a beautiful location. We enjoyed feeding the donkeys, spending a day poolside, all the birds, hearing the howler monkeys, the fantastic drinks, the hot shower, and the lovely room. Every single staff member went above and beyond. We spent 4 nights and if we come back to Belize we will absolutely come back to Table Rock.

With river views, Lower Dover Jungle Lodge & Maya Ruins is set in Unitedville and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden, terrace and barbecue. Incredible place. The colorful cute cabins, the belizian river that flows through the property is really beautiful, I went there every day, the trails to the maya ruins are a great attraction, the food is great too! I traveled as a digital nomad and stayed for about a week. Was a real sanctuary, and Maddy and Justin and Bill created a beautiful place. Highly recommended!
