Rooms were classy and spotless, Marcela and her team were so kind and caring. She anticipated what our family may be interested in, making special dishes for our daughters at breakfast and dinner. Her cooking is delicious, I think she's a foodie and it was wonderful having fresh home cooked meals after several days of eating at restaurants. The pool was spotless too, and Marcela arranged tours for us. The caves were all closed due to rain on the scheduled day and she let us know right away, and suggested alternatives that our family really enjoyed. Thank you so much Marcela and team, for giving us such a memorable stay!

Amid the forests of the Blue Hole National Park, this property offers free Wi-Fi access, private parking and free bike rentals to sightsee the area. A tour desk is also available on site. Everything. It was flawless. Understated elegance and the highest quality abound. The villa was vast, the private plunge pool was great, the food in both restaurants and the pizza place was really good. It was a privilege to eat wonderful food whilst immersed in nature. The trails, rope bridges, etc were superb. The people were, without exception, courteous, friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable.

The home is brand new and sitting on a hill with a beautiful view of the jungle and pool down below. Frankie, the owner and operator, was amazing. He helped book all of our tours and made sure that everything was as it should be with the home. He picked us up at the airport and drove us back with a stop at the ziplines on the way back to Belize City. His home is very nice and located about 2 miles outside of downtown San Ignacio, so it's an easy trip into town for dinner.

We had an incredible stay at Yuma's Riverfront Resort. From the moment we arrived, the friendly staff made us feel incredibly welcome and well-taken care of. The entire property is immaculately clean, which really adds to the relaxing atmosphere. The location is unbeatable, but the real highlight for us was the gorgeous cabanas. They are massive—much larger than your average resort cabana—and provide stunning views of the water & surrounding fields. It was the perfect spot to spend the afternoon, by the gorgous pool. If you’re looking for a peaceful, high-quality getaway in Yuma's, this is the place to be!

Featuring free WiFi, Table Rock Lodge offers accommodation in Cristo Rey. San Ignacio is 3.4 km away. Free private parking is available on site. Some units include a balcony and/or patio. Lovely property, in a beautiful location. We enjoyed feeding the donkeys, spending a day poolside, all the birds, hearing the howler monkeys, the fantastic drinks, the hot shower, and the lovely room. Every single staff member went above and beyond. We spent 4 nights and if we come back to Belize we will absolutely come back to Table Rock.

Hidden Valley Inn -- unexpectedly, I stayed in a lodge, within 7300 acres of wilderness in the Mountain Pine Ridge, 1 hour away from San Ignacio. I was greeted like a special guest, stayed in a beautiful villa, minutes away from the grand lodge, and the pool. There are kilometers of hiking trails, 5 major waterfalls on the property. I did the Butterfly trail, a 30 minutes by car, and a 30 minutes hike. Splendid! When you arrive at the falls and it's emerald lagoon, in the middle of lush jungle, you think that these few moments “Oh Mon Dieu" There they were all for myself, known as the “jewel of the property", featured in several tourist brochures of Belize.
