Staff was suuuper friendly and helpful, they gave us a bigger cabin than what we booked. Staff always bringing wood and making fire. Fire kept living room nice and warm, even though outside was cold. Cabin is nice, big and with plenty of natural wood. Surroundings is nice, green and between the threes. Super hot shower with plenty of water. Walking distance from city centre, around 20 mins.

Lake Lodge provided a perfect “home away from home” for a week, allowing me to settle into my South America adventure travels with ease and comfort. It is a purpose built, very well thought through, small B&B set in the most beautiful and relaxing of locations. And Pamela and Javier are the perfect hosts to make it live up to its full potential!! Lake Lodge is about an 8 minute drive from Pucón, and also just a short drive down the same road takes you to Villarrica Volcano. I had a rental car, so this was plenty easy but I understand that ride service options are also available. The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful; the recommendations for local food and activities were perfect, and you couldn’t ask for better hosts. (Javier was even kind enough to let me borrow his guitar during my stay to help me keep in practice)! It was actually very sad to leave.
