We really enjoyed our stay here. The room is so comfortable and clean. The kitchen has all the items you need and if you have any questions the hosts are super friendly. The place is outside of town, but it only takes a few minutes to drive into town.

I absolutely love this little house. we enjoyed the quiet and view of the stars at night. the place was clean and tastefully decorated and the staff was helpful and friendly.

Fantastic property in a peaceful oasis. I arrived very late and the owner was very helpful. Excellent comminication throughout. The breakfast is lovely and the attention to detail in the property to a high standard. My only regret is I could not stay longer to make use of the property. Well done!

So glad we found this place. Peaceful lakefront setting with beautiful volcano view. Really nice accommodation and furnishings. We loved our stay. Highly recommend!

We were always asked what time we wanted to have breakfast. We stayed over Newyear's eve and New years day. And they arranged for a delicious meals to be brought to the lodge for us during a time many restaurants were closed. Parking was in a gated area and very secure. they have cat and dogs that were very friendly, but were kept outside our entire stay. The owners kept in contact with us prior to arriving. I would go back here anytime!

Spacious and well-equipped Cabañas. It is around 800m / 15 minutes from the centre of town but close to the lake front with good restaurants. Good internet connection. The owners Julio and his staff were super helpful and friendly. Although the breakfast is extra, it is superb in quality and variety … better value than many hotels.

This is an exceptional stay, the location is wonderful with the sea advancing underneath the property at high tide. The bird life is easy to spot from inside the cabin and the balcony is a good size to sit out in. You can stargaze from there at night. Inside the log burner keeps everything cozy and the kitchen is well equipped. There are shops within a 10 minute walk. Castro is easily accessible by local bus. If you don’t speak Spanish, the drivers are very helpful. Castro itself is a good visit with lots of shops and cafes and good views. The staff overcome language problems with ease simply with the desire for you to enjoy your stay. There are cats, chickens and a very engaging young dog. I don’t give 10/10s. This is a 10/10.

My boyfriend and I arrived at the Michimahuida cabins as the first destination on our trip to the Carretera Austral. Our stay in the place was short, however we managed to establish a super pleasant and friendly communication with Nano, the owner of the place and his work team, who treated us in a super warm and close way. I must also mention that Nano was a good support for us, during the trip, with recommendations, and giving his help after we suffered an accident on the road. We are fine, nothing happened to us, however we had to alter the order of everything a bit and Nano in a super disinterested way helped us.
