The design of the cabin was perfect for 2 couples. All the large windows facing the lake plus the outdoor patio was wonderful. Every night we watched the sunset. Just beautiful. Plus we had a little visitor, a fox!!!! It was one of our favorite places we stayed in Chili.

Best stay we had in Chile by far! You can just feel that Francisco and his wife really put their blood, sweat and tears into building this dream into a reality. Wonderful cabañas on an extraordinary piece of land with the best views you could wish for. They pay attention to the little details! From the design of all the panel and flyers to the small bird logo road sign near the gate. A lot of thought went into designing the whole experience - we should have stayed longer.

Incredible location, wonderful lodging. So glad we found this place. Peaceful lakefront setting with beautiful volcano view. Really nice accommodation and furnishings. We loved our stay. Highly recommend!

Outdoor patio spaces that were private for us, we were right next to the river, we could hear the river all night, we had a giant window next to the bed and the view was beautiful trees. There were 2 amazing dogs. The staff was very sweet and generous.

We were always asked what time we wanted to have breakfast. We stayed over Newyear's eve and New years day. And they arranged for a delicious meals to be brought to the lodge for us during a time many restaurants were closed. Parking was in a gated area and very secure. they have cat and dogs that were very friendly, but were kept outside our entire stay. The owners kept in contact with us prior to arriving. I would go back here anytime!

It feels like you are in a jungle with mature trees and ferns but in reality, you are in a secure garden just a few metres away from the main property. The cabin was tastefully furnished and we had a comfortable stay. The lake and restaurants are a few minutes away. We used the secure car park and walked to the city center which was about 15-20 minutes for us. The owner and his family are lovely people and quick to answer questions and requests.

This is an exceptional stay, the location is wonderful with the sea advancing underneath the property at high tide. The bird life is easy to spot from inside the cabin and the balcony is a good size to sit out in. You can stargaze from there at night. Inside the log burner keeps everything cozy and the kitchen is well equipped. There are shops within a 10 minute walk. Castro is easily accessible by local bus. If you don’t speak Spanish, the drivers are very helpful. Castro itself is a good visit with lots of shops and cafes and good views. The staff overcome language problems with ease simply with the desire for you to enjoy your stay. There are cats, chickens and a very engaging young dog. I don’t give 10/10s. This is a 10/10.
