The cabin was sooo cozy and the perfect size! Location is great and the scenery in the area was beautiful. We also loved the fuzzy neighbor who stopped by to say hi and get some pets. It had everything we needed for our stay plus more.

The lovely owner was very responsive, with clear communication on how to find the cabin. There is quite a steep drive up but it is manageable and worth it when you get to the top. The firewood and fire was great and little kitchenette and large fridge were perfect for cooking meals. Lago Ranco is very close and has a large supermarket and fruit grocers to stock up on before you arrive.

It's pricey, but worth it. Our room was small (we knew that when we booked it) because we wanted to stay in the "hobbit" house. It's just adorable. Everything is built of, around and containing trees. There are wonderful forest walks to water cascades (much nicer than the cascades at Petrohue). The dinners were excellent, and we found a wine that we loved on the menu.

Located in front of the Panguipulli Lake, Cabañas Borgolafquen offers self-catering bungalows in Panguipulli. Everything! The property was spotless and the view was incredible. You are ON the lake! We had some cold days and nights and Sergio always made sure we had lots of wood and the fire was always on. The house was super warm and incredibly cozy, and has everything you need. It is one of the most beautiful settings we have ever stayed in. I cannot wait to go back and would recommend these cabañas to anyone who is looking for somewhere to stay in Panguipulli. Set in Panguipulli, only 2km from the Huilo Huilo Biological Reserve, Patagonia Mawida offers private self-catering bungalows with a terrace. The landscape is beautiful! The view from every window and terrace was of the forest. The terrace also has a view of the river. We were only there one night so we didn’t get to enjoy the space fully. The cabin itself is also lovely with a rustic wooden design. Simple but comfortable.
