L'habitació era gran i còmode, el lavabo era còmode i hi havia un balcó amb bones vistes. Els serveis addicionals oferts estaven molt bé i l'atenció d'una part del personal va ser molt bona. L'entorn era bonic i estava ben cuidta, excepte el camí cap al restaurant des de l'habitació.

Location is actually in the protected natural reserve. 350 hectare park contains well designed flower park full of colibris, primary forest, water fall. We stayed in a separate building, with direct view to Arenal and the forest: at the morning, one could watch all the birds: tucans, colibris etc. You have to walk through a hanging bridge to ghe restaurant, which has a marvelous view. The hotel organises free walks on the marked forest tracks, one can see buttetfliea, frogs, birds, spider monkeys. There is a 20 m metal tower that rises above the trees. When we were in the tower, a group of monkeys passed below us. Swiming pool and jacuzzi is right in the forest. Restaurant is fine. Upon arrival, towels were organized into a snail shape 😁

Flora Glamping de Abuela has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Fortuna, 1.1 km from La Fortuna Waterfall. The view was spectacular! Evi, the host was wonderful. Very helpful with recommendations and knowledgeable about the surrounding area as well as other areas in Costa Rica.

Boasting inner courtyard views, Yarumo Lodge, Río Celeste Black Chalets provides accommodation with patio, around 16 km from Rio Celeste Waterfall. We just loved our short stay here! The lodge was beautifully made with so many nice details, realy showing some great skills. The kotchen was fully equippes although we did not use it. The owners were lovely people. And the welcome with wine and chocolate was amazing! Unfortunately it rained heavily for most of our stay but we had a small window to listen to and watch birds in the morning.

Had an awesome visit! There are SO many great sodas and places to eat at in town, we didn't necessarily want to pay for included breakfast. The kitchenette was perfect, and we could re-heat leftovers etc, but it really felt more like staying at our own place. We hardly saw another person (staff or guests, but we know they were there!) the whole time, and it was so peaceful. Staff was very responsive to questions via Whatsapp, and the instructions for getting in and out of the gate/ parking area/ keys etc were very clear.

L’allotjament i el projecte que ha creat la Nohelia és per interessantíssim… L’espai en general és impressionant, especialment pels amants… de fet si no ho sou potser aquest espai no us ho recomanaria. Les zones comuns i els jardins i boscos que formen Cecropia son preciosos i els tours que ofereixen allà són molt interessants, tant per sapiguer de fauna i flora, com per la iniciativa de la seva creadora… per nosaltres va ser tot un encert i no dubtaríem a tornar-hi. Molt sort Nohelia!

Situated in Fortuna, 14 km from La Fortuna Waterfall and 7.5 km from Kalambu Hot Springs, Las Pavitas Arenal Suites features accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and mountain... The view from the property was amazing! It was a bit cloudy sometimes but we could usually see Arenal poking through. The garden is so beautiful, and attracts gorgeous butterflies and hummingbirds. My dad had a great time just sitting on the patio and enjoying the sound of the jungle, watching all the wildlife surrounding the cottage. It was so peaceful and relaxing there. We also found the resident sloth on the road next to the house! The mural on the walls of the house is unbelievably beautiful!! The house was compact but had everything you needed - hot water, wifi, washing machine, AC, fully equalised kitchen, and even a smart TV. We really enjoyed staying there, and the price was great too!

Situated in Boca Tapada, Boca Tapada Lodge features accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and river views. The place is marvelous, very clean and welcoming, really close to the nature! Make sure to take the boat trip and say hello to Mantequilla and Princesa, the hotel pets.

Finca Amistad Cacao Lodge offers 60 hectares of Cocoa farm and guests can enjoy tours, chocolate and bird watching. The accommodation features a seating area. Staff were all friendly and informative. Rooms were clean with comfortable beds. Chocolate tour and making chocolate was a highlight for sure. All food in the restaurant was delicious.

Rincon Verde has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Bijagua, 49 km from Venado Caves. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. Rincón Verde was possibly one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed in. The gardens that surround the cabins are beautiful and full of birds. Everyday you are woken by the song of dozens of birds and you fall asleep to the calls of the frogs. It’s a little bit of paradise. The hosts, Victor and Lizabet are wonderfully welcoming and the breakfasts are delicious. The cabins are quiet, comfortable and spotlessly clean.
