With mountain views, Hortensias Chalets Vara blanca is set in Heredia and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, terrace and children's playground. Cozy chalet, very clean, it was all you need. staff was very friendly and restaurant was good. They helped with all we needed.

With garden views, Selva Verde Lodge is situated in Sarapiquí and has a restaurant, a tour desk, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. The lodge is situated in the most beautiful environment, surrounded by secondary forest. There's fantastic wildlife within the grounds, and the fruit feeders are replenished several times a day, providing fantastic opportunities to see toucans, tanagers and many other birds, reptiles and mammals. The guided wildlife and birding tours were very educational. The rooms were large, well-appointed and comfortable.

Situated in Sarapiquí, Yatama Rainforest Ecolodge features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. Some units have a seating area and/or a balcony. We loved our stay in this remote haven in the middle of the rain forest, surrounded by amazing hiking trails. It is rustic, but comfortable, and we enjoyed the chance to get to know the other guests. Our guided walks were outstanding and we saw an amazing array of frogs, birds and insects . It may not be for those who seek luxury, but it is definitely for those who seek authenticity. We’ll be back.

A recently renovated villa set in Sarapiquí, Río Sarapiquí Lodge features a garden. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Everything in this place is high end, beautiful and comfortable and you could see how every tiny detail is thought of. The place itself is located right on the river, quiet and beautiful with many little magical spots in the garden. The host was wonderful as well. Super friendly and welcoming. I had a zoom meeting on the check out time and she kindly let me stay until I was done. The wifi was strong and stable. This place was off the grid for us and we are extremely happy to have found it!

Offering a garden and garden view, Cabaña Mountain View is set in Heredia, 18 km from Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica and 18 km from Parque Diversiones. A beautifull place kn the mountains. Restful. Very kind host: I had forgotten my cellphone when I left and he drove all the way to Heredia to return it to me.

With Catarata Tesoro Escondido reachable in 48 km, Chilamate Rainforest Eco Retreat features accommodation, a restaurant, a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Incredible location, concept and staff. Helpful on planning activities. Buffet breakfast and lunch was delicioud.
