Guests are offered a free tour of the farm and invited to share tea and conversation around a fire in the evening.The hosts are helpful, kind and friendly. We would highly recommend this place - it was great!!

Situated in Al Aqālitah, 4.1 km from Colossi of Memnon, El Bawaba Lodge & Luxury Retreat features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. What a great stay. The lodge is a new hotel located in a banana plantation near the riverbank; my own, private oasis in the hustle and bustle of busy Luxor. The generous common areas are furnished with old and new authentic objects from different Egypt periods. The garden, the poolside and the terraces are well maintained, super clean and reduced to the max. My room had a big and bright bathroom, a super comfortable mattress and a big balcony with seatings. From there and from the rooftop I had a great view on the riverbank. The stuff is natural friendly, very welcoming and always in charge. I had breakfast and dinner there. The food was outstanding. What a great chef. A special mention for Mohamed. He supported me in the best ways in all my plans for Luxor. I really enjoyed his company and the great chats we had. His politeness, kindness, hospitality and professional appearance makes him to the perfect host. At lest I like to mention the neighborhood. I loved to have a walk along the creek in front of the hotel. An authentic insight in Egypt living in the country side. I wish i could have stayed longer.

Memnoun house asub Memnoni Colossi linnast 4 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on baar, grillimisvahendid ja ühisköök. Majutusasutuses on mullivann. Memnoun house was a wonderful stay. Very quiet and authentic area away from the hustle. The building itself it stunning, very clean and tidy and beautiful interior. The room i stayed in was huge with living room and kitchen area. The breakfast was amazing, served to you at your time of choice. Omelette, refried-beans, cheese cucumber, tomotoes, falafel water/coffee. Can’t fault anything with the place. Shout out to Mahmoud who was a very nice guy. Privilege to meet. Helped with everything and pick up from ferry and to see all the sights within West bank. A very kind man. Even took me to his farm which was a humbling experience. For the price, it is an amazing place. Perhaps 15 minute walk to central west bank which is doable. Very nice restaurant just outside too. Recommend if you want to get away from the busyness of the centre and close to all the tourist attractions.
