Guests are offered a free tour of the farm and invited to share tea and conversation around a fire in the evening.The hosts are helpful, kind and friendly. We would highly recommend this place - it was great!!

What a great stay. The lodge is a new hotel located in a banana plantation near the riverbank; my own, private oasis in the hustle and bustle of busy Luxor. The generous common areas are furnished with old and new authentic objects from different Egypt periods. The garden, the poolside and the terraces are well maintained, super clean and reduced to the max. My room had a big and bright bathroom, a super comfortable mattress and a big balcony with seatings. From there and from the rooftop I had a great view on the riverbank. The stuff is natural friendly, very welcoming and always in charge. I had breakfast and dinner there. The food was outstanding. What a great chef. A special mention for Mohamed. He supported me in the best ways in all my plans for Luxor. I really enjoyed his company and the great chats we had. His politeness, kindness, hospitality and professional appearance makes him to the perfect host. At lest I like to mention the neighborhood. I loved to have a walk along the creek in front of the hotel. An authentic insight in Egypt living in the country side. I wish i could have stayed longer.

It's an exceptional place where you feel welcomed and taken care of. Whatever you need, you can always turn to the owner or Mahmud who works there and they'll do their best to help (from adjusting the breakfast time, exchanging money to taking to the ferry and back). As a solo traveler I felt very comfortable there and safe. Definitely the best place to stay in the West Bank. Maybe only it'd be great to have some sign on the main street which shows the direction to the hostel :)
