Lovely little house in a village in the hills, we had a wonderful stay. Great views from the front of the property over the village and of the mountains in the background. Walking distance from a handful of bars and a couple of restaurants (it was low season so understandably not everything was open). A couple of good walks from house, and house is close (25mins drive) to Poncebos, the start of the Ruta del Cares and hike up to Bulnes.

Lots of walking on the doorstep, and the Parque Natural de Ponga is on the doorstep: a fabulous, relatively undiscovered area of gorges, forest and sharp mountain peaks, a good alternative to the neighbouring Picos de Europa. Communication with owners was excellent, and the house was equipped with all we could need (toilet paper, washing-up liquid, tea towels, towels, bedding etc). A long drive to any shops or bars so bring plenty of food and drink and have the perfect escape! Loved the free range eggs the owners left us too! Thank you for sharing this perfect place with us.
