The place was next to the beach and also near Rethymno city. You can use a car or bus to arrive in the center or even walk. The flat was in a quite part of the city and confortable.

Stavros was an exceptional host, very accommodating and we loved all the little treats that were left for us. A special and cosy place. By far our favourite out of the 4 we stayed at.

This is the first time through my travels that I met a host who does it not for the money but for the love of meeting and hosting people as a fellow traveller himself. As for the property, the name says it. It is a tiny house with all the basic necessities that someone would need. The terrace is great.

Complete with a garden, flamingo colour valey house is located in Palekastron, 500 metres from Maridati Beach and 6.3 km from Vai Palm Forest. Amazing stay and fantastic location! Costas is a very warm and helpful host. The house is located in an olive grove a few 100 meters from the calm beach of Maridati (and 1 min from the Maridatis restaurant) where you can go snorkeling as there are a lot of fish! The house is spacious and comfortable, it has a small terrace with a view of the surrounding. You will see nothing except the occasional sheep, rabbit or 'house' cat which we befriended. If you enjoy a quiet and totally relaxing stay, very close to an amazing and less known beach with few people and great swimming in cristal clear and calm waters, then don't hesitate. On top of that you have a taverna close by with amazing hosts (Eleni and Manolis) and great food. We will be back. Thank you, Costas, for the warm welcome and your kindness!
