Rathgillen Cabin, a property with a garden, is situated in Nobber, 17 km from Navan Race Course, 19 km from St. Columba's Church, as well as 19 km from Kells Round Tower. We stayed there twice, one night at each end of our two-week holiday in Donegal. We found it a great place to spend our first night after a long flight to Dublin airport (which isn't too far away) and also for finishing off our trip in beautiful and relaxing surroundings. On previous trips to Ireland we'd stayed at other places in County Meath on our first and last nights and they had all been really good but Rathgillen Cabin has become our favourite. Peter, the host, is a very friendly and welcoming fella so we's love it if he'd come to stay with us at our home in Bulgaria some time. And the village has a handy shop, a great pub and a wonderful cafe where we had our final breakfast befor heading home. We were also delighted to discover that Nobber was the birthplace of the 17th Century blind harpist. Turlough O' Carolan whose music we've loved for a long time.

Boasting garden views, Dunderry Lodge Self Catering Family Lodges features accommodation with patio, around 7.9 km from Trim Castle. The self-catering facility was the cleanest, the most comfortable I could have found. It was fantastic and to be recommended for anyone needing a place to stay near Trim, near Navan, or for a country rest.

Set in Murntown and only 44 km from Hook Lighthouse, Long Acre Lodge offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Lovely accomodation with a beautiful outlook onto a large lawn. Owner was welcoming and all facilities were as indicated. The beds were great, shower hot, kitchen and lounge area was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Adorable Cabin in the Countryside, a property with a garden, is located in Portlaoise, 42 km from Tullamore Dew Heritage Centre, 43 km from Kilkenny Railway Station, as well as 43 km from Kildare Town... The tiny house and the owners are lovely!

Located in Carlow and only 3.2 km from Carlow Town Hall, Cut Limestone Apartment Riverside Lodge provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Everything was clean, the hosts Pat & Jin were incredibly welcoming, there were complimentary milk, eggs, bread and some homemade biscuits on arrival. The accommodation was really cozy and comfortable.

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, Cosy Countryside Log Cabin is situated in Kilkenny, 15 km from Kilkenny Railway Station and 16 km from Kilkenny Castle. We just absolutely loved it so relaxing gorgeous place it was like home from home will definitely be returning
