We stayed there twice, one night at each end of our two-week holiday in Donegal. We found it a great place to spend our first night after a long flight to Dublin airport (which isn't too far away) and also for finishing off our trip in beautiful and relaxing surroundings. On previous trips to Ireland we'd stayed at other places in County Meath on our first and last nights and they had all been really good but Rathgillen Cabin has become our favourite. Peter, the host, is a very friendly and welcoming fella so we's love it if he'd come to stay with us at our home in Bulgaria some time. And the village has a handy shop, a great pub and a wonderful cafe where we had our final breakfast befor heading home. We were also delighted to discover that Nobber was the birthplace of the 17th Century blind harpist. Turlough O' Carolan whose music we've loved for a long time.

The Carranstown Lodge, un alojamiento con un restaurante y un bar, está ubicado en Duleek, a 12 km de Centro de Ecología Sonairte, a 13 km de Dowth y a 16 km de Castillo de Slane. Central location to suit our needs with a toddler and a small dog. Perfect for what we needed for an overnight stay in Duleek. We asked for a table and chairs to sit outside when the toddler was asleep and it was provided with ease. Excellent for parents of a young child. Big green to burn off extra energy before bed. We brought our own travel cot as discussed before our arrival and again was accommodated. We will be back.

The high taste of the interiors and the setup, the blend of colors, as well as the theme, have reflected her high taste in her choice for the lodge. Every piece that was there had a story behind it. Everything was perfectly designed for its space, and a full library was at the touch of your fingers. If you are missing your pets, you have BOO very friendly dog and two cats. They will keep you busy; they are extremely friendly. The thoughtful host even baked us fresh bread, fresh farm eggs daily, and honey from the area. Geraldine is a perfect host in every sense. Thank you for lighting up the fireplace.
