Hengifosslodge Tiny Houses in Egilsstadir provides adults-only accommodation with a private beach area and a garden. The tiny house was so adorable and cozy! It was super clean and had everything we needed (we also enjoyed the cookies & wine they gave us). We’ll definitely be back for a longer stay!

Very clean and cozy lodge with a tranquil river view in front . The hostess of the lodge is so nice. We arrived late after the check in time and she waited for us. We didn’t have the time to have dinner before arriving but fortunately the hostess is very thoughtful and kept some pasta and sauce for sale so we didn’t have to go to bed hungry .

Gateway to Askja and the Icelandic Highlands. Laugarfell Accommodation & Hot Springs is located in the Eastern Highlands, at the edge of Vatnajökull National Park, and sits directly on the paved... I Laugarfell every year in September with friends and we love this place. The staff is always so friendly. Looking forward to next year visit.

Loved the peaceful location, incredible views, had the whole place to ourselves, amazing chefs kitchen with all the amenities and free to use, breakfast was plentiful, rooms were very warm with underfloor heating, lovely on the feet but almost too warm at night.
