Beautiful location, isolated and quiet but still less than 10 Min drive to cute town where we had dinner. We liked the sheep visitors. Very new and clean. Comfortable bed. Had everything we needed, well stocked kitchen.

I don’t know where to even start, just WOW! Since the moment I arrived, the owner Gudrun received me with open arms and gave me a map right away with places to visit around Snaefellsnes! She was very sweet and caring! The cabin was absolutely wonderful, equipped with everything you need to have a pleasant stay. The dinner both night was absolutely INCREDIBLE! The lamb and the pasta were SOOOOO GOOD! Worth it every penny! The breakfast was also wonderful. Gudrun really cares about her visitors, and you can truly tell by the way she helps and is always available, plus she’s a wonderful cook! As a solo traveler, it truly made me feel like home, which honestly, was the best! I’ve been in Iceland for 2 weeks now and have stayed at 10 different places, this one has been BY FAR! The best! What a wonderful stay!

Everything was perfect, very good location in the Snaefellsnes peninsula, the house was comfy, very clean and stylish, there is everything you need and we had an amazing stay.

Objekt Dis Cottages smješten je u gradu 'Grundarfjordur'. U cijelom objektu na raspolaganju je besplatan WiFi, a dostupno je i besplatno privatno parkiralište. Managed to get a cabin on the same day we checked in, without knowing that this was one of the highly raved accommodation in the area! The location was secluded, to say the least, but the address provided was accurate and a breeze to find. Just a quick 10min drive from the city/ Kirkjufell and had the perfect condition to catch the Northern Lights (provided the sky's clear). Great view of Kirkjufell from the room too! The bed and toilet were comfy; no issues with the hot water for us. Really really love the paintings on the wall too - a great way to show support for the local kids with special needs!
