Such a lovely lodge in a beautiful, quiet setting. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully set up, making it an easy and relaxing stay. The hosts were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

Located in Hakuba, 12 km from Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area, Hakuba Amber Resort by Jade Group offers accommodation with a hot tub. This journey was truly wonderful. Right from when I stepped off the plane, they arranged transportation, as well as bookings at restaurants, and shuttles to the ski resort. Communicating via WhatsApp was incredibly helpful and ensured that there were no issues during my stay, which was comfortable every day. The room was immaculately cleaned, and the daily breakfast was delicious. The high-quality interior decor and speakers made even the time spent indoors after skiing very enjoyable. The best part was having a hot spring in the room. Enjoying the hot spring amidst the snowy landscape was an absolute highlight. I will definitely book here again for the next season. The concierge team were truly fantastic and worked great.

Situated in Hakuba, Sakka Sanso offers accommodation with a terrace or a balcony, free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as a garden and a shared lounge. I loved how cozy and comfortable this Ryokan was. Everything is well-maintained and clean. We visited during winter because we really wanted to try skiing. The owners helped us find our way around, from where to rent gears and equipment to suitable skiing spots for beginners. They also picked us up at the Happo Terminal Bus Station for free, and contacting them was not an issue because they ensured they would be on time. I would also like to mention the mini library section. Although we can't read in Japanese, we enjoyed it and were able to find our favorite Japanese anime comics. Additionally, we opted for breakfast, and it was really delicious and healthy! Every day, they served us with a different set of meals.

Le Bocage – Hakuba Echoland Chalets are situated in Echoland, a popular nightlife site where more than 30 bars and restaurants can be found. The property offers free in-room WiFi and on-site parking. We had a great few days staying in the chalet. It was quiet, clean, and conveniently located to access various hikes/trailheads, restaurants, supermarkets and other sites. The two bathrooms (one on each floor) were handy and we loved having the washer/dryer. The kitchen had everything you need for cooking, including oil, salt and pepper. The fridge/freezer was large. We liked the keyless entry system. Finally, staff were very responsive and helped us ship our luggage with Yamato to our next destination.

A 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort, Pension Tomato offers spacious Western-style rooms with a loft area. Private Onsen, beautifully built. Onsen time scheduled for 45 minutes so everyone can get his turn without stress. Multi Onsen booking possible. The owners (a very nice couple) deserve the title of „best hosts ever“. They printed out train schedules and circled the trains we had to catch, they helped us plan a daytrip, they drove us to the next hotel, so we didn’t have to get a cab. If I could, I would even give additional stars for this pension. I will certainly return.

We have a variety of beautiful and well appointed chalets, located in prime areas centered around the Happo ski resort in Hakuba. Location is great to walk to Happo One slopes. However, not very walkable to restaurants etc. Probably need a car or hire taxi . Staff communication was excellent. The villa has everything we need for a week stay. Rooms are spacious and functional.

A 10-minute walk from Happo One Ski Resort, guests at Log Cottage Epoch can rent out an entire cottage. Each spacious cottage comes with free Wi-Fi and includes a kitchen and a living room. The log cottage is a perfect find. The host was amazing, he picked us up for the train station and took us to the ski lifts in the morning. Such great hosts. Location was beautiful and the log itself was lovely and clean. We could highly recommend you staying here. Thank you

Set in Hakuba, Il Bosco offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy free bikes, a terrace and a restaurant. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. Everything, the room was perfect and warm, koki and Naomi give us excellent service..koki also cook very good dinner and bake a very niceeee bread.. the most delicious bread I ever had in my life.. his bread is a must!!

Situated in Hakuba in the Nagano region, with Happo-One Ski Resort and Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal nearby, Pension Marionette features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The location was awesome, quiet and tucked away but 30 seconds to Main Street echoland. The downstairs common area was soothing and relaxing, warm and inviting. I can’t say enough about Matsua and his hospitality and willingness to help. I HIGHLY suggest Pension Marrionette for several reasons. I’m solo but had two beds and upstairs loft that was either for morning relaxing yoga or to house another two individuals. I hope I return and can enjoy the Marionette again soon.
