Most importantly, Chan was an amazing host!! He helped us in so many ways during our stay, even getting us to our snow monkey tour bus when we were running late . Wonderful stay!!

We stayed for two nights here. The owner is so friendly and the atmosphere is so good. Breakfast is included and very delicious. Although it’s not that close to the JR Station, there are a lot of restaurants nearby. We will definitely come back.

A 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort, Pension Tomato offers spacious Western-style rooms with a loft area. Private Onsen, beautifully built. Onsen time scheduled for 45 minutes so everyone can get his turn without stress. Multi Onsen booking possible. The owners (a very nice couple) deserve the title of „best hosts ever“. They printed out train schedules and circled the trains we had to catch, they helped us plan a daytrip, they drove us to the next hotel, so we didn’t have to get a cab. If I could, I would even give additional stars for this pension. I will certainly return.

We have a variety of beautiful and well appointed chalets, located in prime areas centered around the Happo ski resort in Hakuba. We were walking distance to a few places, it was quite spacious with a comfortable living room area. The pickup and drop off service was exceptional and very helpful.

A 10-minute walk from Happo One Ski Resort, guests at Log Cottage Epoch can rent out an entire cottage. Each spacious cottage comes with free Wi-Fi and includes a kitchen and a living room. Everything is perfect. We had an excellent at week there. Toshi and his wife are excellent hosts. He drove us to/from bus terminal slopes, ski rental shops/supermarkets. He was so nice that sometimes we don't want to ask him for a ride. The kitchen is well equipped ranging from rice cooker, microwave, oven, fridge, sukiyaki pot, coffee maker, various sizes of dish and bowl, etc.

Also available was a proper Japanese-style bathing room just like you'd find at any public bath house. We found the location great as well; wonderfully dark and quiet at night. All the food offered was also organic, and breakfasts were included.
