Bare 19 kilometer fra Yakusugi Land ligger 森のフェアリー Cottage Morino Fairy All cotage with open-air bath with sea view or river view. We loved our stay here. The host took her time to explain everything and answered a lot of my questions. Very nice and responsive. The trees on the back patio invite a lot of birds so I got to watch them every morning. We rented a car, the cottage was easy to find and access. It's very comfortable, the air temp in the room, the furniture, the hot tub on the patio, the kitchenette. Although we mostly ate the already prepared food from the grocery stores.

The Japanese style tatami and cushions in the living room with the heater were very comfortable. Appliances worked great to cook for the two of us and overall a great stay!

星空に包まれる 森の隠れ家 Amrita Lodge ~stay & retreat~ ligger i Kirishima-jingu Onsen i Kirishima, 12 kilometer fra Ebino-platået, og tilbyr en terrasse og gratis WiFi. We all really enjoyed the location of the property. Ideal for hiking. It was very well presented, well equipped and tastefully decorated. We had a great stay. Yui was really helpful. She was good to communicate with and made us very welcome. We all had a massage with her which was so so relaxing after a day on the mountain. We all wish we could have stayed longer .

Place was exceptionally clean. Ideally located, 3 minute walk to bus station. Owner was very helpful and ordered breakfast and lunch packs for our Cedar trail hike to Jomon. The food packs were delivered to our door steps by 4:30 am to be ready for our all day hike.
